QUETTA: A Pakistan Air Force (PAF) aircraft crashed near Mastung in Balochistan on Wednesday.
The pilot of the aircraft embraced martyrdom in the incident.
According to a statement issued by PAF spokesman, the F-7PG aircraft was on a routine training mission at the time of the incident.
The PAF statement added that a board of inquiry has been ordered by Air Headquarters to determine the cause of the crash.
A TV channel quoted Deputy Commissioner Mastung Mumtaz Khetran as saying that a parachute was found on the site of the crash.
