Young Pakistani activist Danyal Hayat Awarded ‘Vladimir Putin Presidential Award’

ISLAMABAD: A young Pakistani activist Danyal Hayat was awarded Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin Presidential Award in recognition of his services for the World Festival of Youth and Students 2017 and efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

Danyal Hayat received the award at a ceremony held at Russian Embassy in Islamabad.

Russian Ambassador to Pakistan Alexey Yureivich Dedov and Counselor Sergei Baranov presented the award to Danyal Hayat at the ceremony.

The Russian government acknowledged the services of the young Pakistani for World Festival of Youth and Students 2017 and for the efforts he made to strengthen bilateral relations between Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan through the award.

The award consisted of Golden Token with an emblem of ‘Dove of Peace’ designed by Pablo Picasso during 2nd World War in Berlin in 1951 and letter of appreciation signed by Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Danyal said that after th World Festival of Youth and Students 2017, he was entrusted with the honorary position to spearhead Future Team Pakistan, a platform through which he has engaged hundreds of young leaders, civil society members, parliamentarians, journalists, athletes, bureaucrats and artists in various youth leadership, economic, cultural and governmental forums including high-level political forums in Russia. To name a few – International Youth Ministers Meeting, Russia Land of Opportunities, observation of Russian Presidential Elections, Saint Peters-berg International Economic Forum, Yalta International Economic Forum, International Forum for the Development of Parliamentarism and International Volunteer Forum etc.

Danyal said he will continue working for the youth of Pakistan and presenting Pakistan soft image in the world.
