ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will depart for Turkey today on a two-day official visit.
The Prime Minister is undertaking the state visit on the invitation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
During his visit, the Prime Minister will hold a detailed discussion on Turkish leadership regarding bilateral ties, issues of mutual interests and regional and international issues.
Imran will discuss the renewed Afghan peace process and take Turkish leadership into confidence regarding the US-Taliban meeting in UAE facilitated by Pakistan.
He will meet Turkish President Erdogan and others.
The PM will address a business forum and hold meetings with Turkish businessmen and potential investors.
The visit will help Pakistan explore new avenues of cooperation and collaboration with Turkey.
Earlier, the prime minister embarked on a two-day visit to Malaysia on the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Bin Mohamad. He has also visited Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and China since assuming office
