General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), paid a visit to Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH) in Madina on Monday, while he is on a three day official tour in Saudi Arabia.
He offered Nawafil prayer at Riaz ul Jannah in Masjid-e-Naabawi. He will leave for Makkah today to perform Umrah.
On Sunday, December 18, he met Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Saudi King.
The ISPR statement said, “The Saudi king and the Army Chief agreed that both the countries share great history of cordial relations and deep spirit of brotherhood which has transformed into an enduring partnership.”
It was acknowledge in a meeting that both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are together to play their role for regional stability.
Earlier during COAS Gen. Bajwa’s visit, he held a meeting with Mohammad bin Salman, the Deputy Crown Prince and Defence Minister to discuss mutual interest and bilateral security cooperation.
