Speculation was that the new Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Bajwa belongs to Ahmedi sect. The issue remained a hot cake among the media experts and especially on social media, despite recurring clarifications from ISPR.

But, today, Army Chief Gen Qamar Bajwa, with his gesture, has clarified all the ambiguity over his Islamic beliefs.

On the eve of Eid Milad un Nabi (s.a.w) when Muslims are getting ready to celebrate the event in full swing.

A Naat Khawni gathering was arranged at Army Guest House, Islamabad, in the presence of General Qamar Jawaid Bajwa and his spouse, which was a clear sign of affection towards the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

According to the details received to THE NEWS TRIBE, special invitation card, mentioning the venue and timings of the Milad were send from the Chief of Army staff and his wife to friends and family members.

The event commenced at 6 in the evening after Maghrib’s prayer, where the famous Naat Kwan recited the Naat and Durood o Salam.

The event has put down all the doubt and propagandas aside that Gen. Qamar Jawaid Bajwa belonged to the Ahmadi sect, because before taking the chair of Chief of Army Staff a certain group of people started this propaganda on the social media to lower the morale of Pakistan Army.
