DUBAI: Australian bowling legend Shane Warne is all praise for Pakistan’s Yasir Shah, the young star leg spinner from Pakistan.
“Yasir bowls well and has all the stuff. He is a match winner in all the formats of the game. This is what makes him dangerous. However, he has to learn the art of patience while mastering further in the genuine art of leg spin bowling,” Warne said in an interview with Khaleej Times.
“He (Yasir) is inexperienced at the moment, and if he hangs on by waiting for the openings, he will go far,” Warne added.Speaking about the pink ball in day-night cricket Warne said: “I love it. It’s the best thing to have happened after Kerry Packer changed the face of the game with day-night matches and the white ball, and I think this line of thinking is going to keep Test cricket alive for some time. I would love to have played Tests under lights and with the pink ball.”
