Sindh govt announces Rs 10m grant for Amjad Sabri’s family

KARACHI: Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has announced to award Rs 10m in compensatory damages to the family of deceased, Amjad Fareed Sabri.

CM Sindh paid a visit to Sabri’s home amid tight security and announced Rs 10 million grants for deceased family from Sindh government.

Rs 10 m grant for Sabri’s family was also announced by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who also condemned the brutal killing of legendary Qawwal.

Federal government also announced to bare all education expanses of his children.

It is pertinent to mention here that the renowned Sufi Musician of Pakistan, Amjad Fareed Sabri was assassinated near Lalu-Khait, Number 10 area of Karachi.

His funeral prayer held at the Main Road of Liaqatabad, which was attended by thousands of people and fans.

He was buried in the cemetery of Paposh Nagar next to his beloved father Ghulam Fareed Sabri, who as well, was globally famous sufi artist (qawwal).

The murder of Amjad Fareed Sabri is considered the great loss of Pakistan, from which the country will never be recovered from.
