FAISALABAD: Courtesy to Azhar Ali (80) and Umar Akmal (59), Balochistan stun Islamabad to chase down the mammoth target of 316, also knock them out of the tournament at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad.

Despite losing Sharjil early on 39, stand-in captain Kamran Akmal along with young Inam ul Haq added 197 runs for the second wicket partnership.
Kamran Akmla cashed in the chance he was provided in the absence of Misbah ul Haq and went on to score his firts hundred of the tournament, scoring 134 off 102 balls.
Inam ul Haq also completed his ton, he made 102 runs of 124 balls. No other batsman could really contribute to the total, other than Raza Ali Dar who made 26 off 22 to take the score to 315/8.
Bilawal Bhatti took 3 wickets for 57 runs in his 10 quota.
Openers of Balochistan Awais Zia (45) ans Azhar ALi (80) gave a good start to their side and middle ordered capitalised on it to keep the momentum of the innings going. Umar Akmal down the order played his part of 59 from 45 balls and giving Islamabad a fair chance to win it.
After he went back to hut, Sohail Tanvir started where Umar had left. he played a cameo of 26 off just 9 balls to take his team across the line in last over of the ball with a huge six.
Kamran Akmal was picked Man of The Match award for his blistering innings of 134 off 102 balls.
