To surpass Pak, Ind need a 55-runs win over Bang

BANGALORE: Bangladesh’s excellent bowling against India in the Group-2 Super-10 round match at Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium, Bangalore, has created a lot of trouble for India.

India, with the start the got from openers, must have thought to post around 170-180 on the board, but, Bangladeshi bowlers’ bowled brilliantly to restrict India to 146/7.

Now, India need to win this  game by 55 runs or more to perch above Pakistan in the points table, or at least by 44 runs, so that they can replace No.3 team Australia.

If  India lose this game, and Pakistan win against Australia, Pakistan will be stronger contender for semi-finals on the basis of run-rate.
