PESHAWAR: Security forces on Thursday arrested 27 suspects during search operation conducted earlier on morning in several parts of Peshawar city, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to sources, at least 27 suspects were arrested during search operation, including five Afghan national. Arrested Afghan nationals were involved in five different murder cases.
During raid, security forces recovered heavy weapons and explosive material from arrested suspects and shifted them to undisclosed place for further investigation.
It is important to mention here that, on Wednesday at least 15 people were killed in bomb blastnear Sadar road in which 8 kg explosive material was used.
The blast that took place near Sunehri Masjid. The targeted bus belonged to the Civil Secretariat bus and was carrying government employees from Mardan to the provincial capital.
“15 people were killed and 25 others were severely injured,” Superintendent of Police Cantonment Muhammad Kashif told the media.
