ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC), maintained the order of Sindh High Court regarding removing the name of Former President of Pakistan Pervez Musharraf from Exit Control List, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Anwar Zaheer Jamali taunted that federal government just want to put the burden on shoulders of SC.

He clarified that as per order Musharraf can travel to any part of world but government can stop him from leaving Pakistan.

Musharraf’s lawyer, Dr Farogh Nasim paid thanks to SC for rejecting the plea submitted by the federal government of Pakistan.

During the course of proceedings, Dr Farogh Nasim, counsel for the former president, submitted a fresh medical report of Pervez Musharraf. He said that his client was suffering from a disease whose treatment was not possible in Pakistan.

He said that the Sindh High Court allowed the former president to travel abroad but the Interior Ministry challenged the decision in the apex court, which annulled the verdict.
