ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif on Monday clarified that decision of Pakistan team’s participation in upcoming T20 cricket world cup 2016, will be made after security clearance, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
According to statement issued PM Secretariat, the Pakistan team will fly to India after the security clearance and decision will be made after the report submitted by security team.
A security team will visit India on the orders of PM Nawaz to compile a report on security measures. Patron-in-chief Pakistan cricket Board (PCB) also sought a report over the poor performance of Pakistan cricket team in Asia Cup 2016.
Earlier, in a statement issued here, the interior minister Chaudhry Nisar said that until the foolproof security to Pakistani cricket team was not ensured by India, Pakistani cricket team would not be allowed to tour India.
