Pakistan become first to play 100 T20i matches

DHAKA: Sixth match ongoing Asia Cup Twenty20 between Pakistan and United Arab Emirates is special one from Pakistan perspective.

The  match has its importance for Green Shirts, both from tournament’s point of view and historical point of view, as it is their 100th Twenty20 international game, with this, Pakistan have become first world side to reach 100 mark in T20 format.

Winning this game, will not only give them their first victory in the tournament but also a make a positive impact on historical point of view.

Pakistan T20 skipper Shahid Afridi and senior most batsman in the side, Shoaib Malik are the two players who feature in Shaheen’s first and 100th T20i match.

New Zeland team are second in the row with 88 matches in shorter format followed by South Africa with 84 T20s
