DUBAI: First finalist of Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be decided on February 19, as Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators will meet in the first playoff of Pakistan’s premier t20 league at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Sizzling t20 tournament is now entering in the final stage where four teams will fight for the crown of champion. Lahore Qalandars was the team that failed to make space in final four.
Under the captaincy of Azhar Ali, Qalandars just managed to grab only to wins out of eight matches played in the tournament.
The team lead by Shahid Afridi, is on top of the points table, while Quetta Gladiators is on second position. The two teams will enter in the ground with new combination as couple of players left the tournament including Tamim Iqbal and Mohammad Nabi of Quetta Gladiators.
Peshwar Zalmi will play the important round of the tournament without Tamim Iqbal as he left for motherland because of personal issue.
Left-handed batsman will also miss the upcoming Asia Cup. While, Quetta Gladiators will face the Khpal Team without Afghani off-spinner Mohammad Nabi, who played match winning inning against Lahore Qalandars and helped his team to chase the mammoth total.
New Zland’s spinner Nathan Mccullum replaced the Mohammad Nabi for the upcoming matches. On the other hand Brad Hodge joined the Peshawar Zalmi and showed his presence with match wining inning.
