ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan left for Charsadda to monitor the rescue operation at Bacha Khan University, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Chairman PTI revealed that Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Pervez Khattak is on a official visit of Scotland.
” I asked CM KP to reach Pakistan as soon as possible,” Imran Khan told. While talking to media persons out side his residence at Bani Gala, Khan said that he will monitor the rescue operations.
Earlier, almost at 9: 30 am today, a group of terrorist attacked Bacha Khan University Saddar campus in Charsada.
Law enforcement agencies and rescue teams had rushed to the university campus, while eye witnesses said that gunfire can be heard from university premises. Four major blasts were also heard from inside.
At least twenty people, one of which was identified as a chemistry professor, has embraced martyrdom in the attack. Other dead were supposed to be university students and security guards.
