ISLAMABAD: Two main suspects, Khalid Shamim and Mohsin Ali of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Imran Farooq murder case on Saturday has recorded their confessional statements before court, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

According to reports, accused Khalid Shamim and Mohsin Ali have confessed their direct involvement in the murder before court and named the highly ranked members of  MQM who were allegedly involved in the murder.

In a confessional statement Khalid Shamim said that MQM leader Mohammad Anwar sent him 25,000 pounds for the murder and it was all planned in Karachi, he also told that he talked to MQM head Altaf Hussain once in his life over some party matters.

Khalid further added that after murder a code word was selected for the final news about murder, that was, mamu ki Subah Hogai’ which meant work has been done and Imran Farooq is no more.

other suspect Mohsin Ali told court that knives and rain coats to kill Imran Farooq were bought from London’s One Pound Shop.

Mohsin Alis said he was present on the spot when Imran Farooq was killed while Kashif was the one who attacked MQM leader with the knife.
