Pakistan condemns Indian Air Base attack

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Saturday condemned the terrorist attack on an Indian Air Force base in Pathankot in Indian Punjab, TheNewsTribe.com reported.

According to spokesman of Pakistan Foreign Ministry, Pakistan expresses condolences to the government and people of India specially with the families of those who lost their lives in the horrible attack.

The Foreign Office further highlighted Pakistan’s resolve to eliminate terrorism from the region, adding that recent goodwill gestures between the two countries have given way to better friendly relations between Pakistan and India.

Earlier in the early morning of Saturday at least 6,7 terrorists have launched a terror attack on the Indian Air Force base in PathanKot.

3 Indian Air Force personnel have lost their lives in the attack, 6 are injured while 4 terrorists have been killed in retaliation.

According to Indian media, 5,6 the terrorists entered the Base in military get up and media has quoted that the vehicle which has been used in the attack was hijacked from Suprintendent Police (SP) in Gurdaspur area, yesterday.
