PM Nawaz should take parliament into confidence over Modi’s surprise visit: Khursheed Shah

SUKHUR: Senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and opposition leader in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah on Saturday has welcomed the visit of  Indian Premier Narendra Modi’s  and said that PM Nawaz should take parliament into confidence over Modi’s surprise visit.

While talking to media in Sukhur, Shah said that Nawaz Sharif should also inform other political parties and parliament what the two leaders discussed in Friday meeting.

‘PPP welcomes the meeting and supports any positive development towards improvement of ties with India,’ he said.

On a question he went on saying that Pakistan and India are two neighbours and they must learn to cooperate with each other.

He replied over Rangers’ question he urged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to avoid any rifts with provincial governments while terming the move an attack on Sindh government.
