KARACHI: Sindh Assembly approved the resolution on Wednesday to restrict the powers of Rangers, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Interior Minister of Sindh, Anwar Syal presented the resolution in assembly and Member of Assembly (MPA) belonging to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) passed the resolution by their votes.
According to resolution, Rangers will not made raid on any government office without the permission of Sindh government.
MPA belonging to opposition parties protested against the resolution in front of Speaker Sindh Assembly. Sindh government gave extension to Rangers for 12 month with limited powers.
