ABU DHABI: English batsmen thrashed bowling line up of Pakistani team in the second One Day International match of four-match series at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi.

Opener of England team scored 102 runs and caught behind the wickets on ball Iftikhar Ahmed who made his debut in international cricket.

None of Pakistani bowler produced strong punch. Green Shirts failed to put English batsmen in trouble.

English team scored 240 runs in 42 overs.

Earlier, Batting first, openers of English team put their team on driving seat and destroyed the bowling line up of green shirts.

JJ Roy and Hales put 102 runs on scoreboard. Roy was caught by Shoaib Malik on the ball of Wahab Riaz. He scored 54 runs.

Captain of England cricket team Morgan and Root are trying to build another partnership. Wahab Riaz and Iftikhar Ahmed took one wicket each so far.
