RAWALPINDI: At least 70 dengue cases were registered on Friday in Rwawalpindi, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
Dengue cases were registered in various hospitals increasing the toll of the patients to 2,500
. Due to the rising number of patients, beds and paramedical staff have fallen short. Patients admitted in hospitals include a large number of children and women.
Doctors on the other hand have directed the patients to refrain from coming to hospital as the staff is on leave due to Muharram vacations.
Earlier on Thursday, dengue patient lost his life life due to dengue fever on Thursday in Rawalpindi. The Dengue victim was identified as Mohammad Naeem. 22-year old was under treatment in the Holy hospital.
49 year old lady Anwar Maai ALSO lost her life due to dengue fever in Benazir Bhutto hospital in Rawalpinid, city of Punjab.
According to details, she was the resident of Dhok Kamal Din, site in Rawalpindi and with that the tally of dengue caused deaths has raised to six in ongoing month in Rawalpindi.
It is to be kept in mind that over 1800 dengue victims have been admitted to different government running hospitals in Rawalpindi.
Medical experts have advised the Rawalpindi residents to take extra care of their lives and of others as well.
