KARACHI: Former president of Pakistan and co-chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has expressed a very strange wish to become opposition leader in National Assembly of Pakistan.
According to details, he revealed his wish in an meeting of PPP which was called to reconsider things to make the party strong in Dubai.
A plan was presented in the meeting to make Bilawal Bhutto Zardari ‘opposition leader’ instead of current opposition leader Khurshid Shah.
On this, former president expressed his wish to become oppostion leader but senior leadership of PPP said to him that ‘You are a former President and becoming opposition leader will not suit you.’
It is to be kept in mind that PPP nowadays is looking to reconsider its policy and reshaping its tactics and senior leadership have admitted that PPP has lost its ground in the country and it needs to rethink its policies.
