INNSBRUCK, AUSTRIA- A new study has revealed that black coffee is linked with ‘psychopathic tendencies’ i.e. troubling personality tendencies.
Researchers have found out that those who like bitter taste are more likely to feel content in discomfort.
The study has been presided by Professor Christina Sagioglou from the Innsbruck University in Austria and included around 1,000 test subjects.
The participants of the study were asked to rank certain foods having different tastes like sweet, salty and sour foods. The ranks ranged from ‘dislike strongly’ to ‘like strongly’.
After taking into account their taste preferences, they were asked to undertake four different personality tests which measured aggression, selfishness, psychopathy, and narcissism.
They were also interrogated about extraversion, openness, agreeableness, conscientiousness, and emotional stability.
Results revealed that those preferring bitter taste were strongly linked with psychopathic tendencies.
