PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Police on Wednesday has claimed to arrest the suspect, Gul Rauf,who was involved in Bannu jailbreak.
Riaz Ahmed Yousufzai, spokesperson for KP police said “Lakki district police conducted an operation after receiving actionable intelligence and arrested the accused.”
The police spokesperson added that the accused was arrested from Takhtekhel area of Lakki district.
It is to be kept in mind that KP police had announced a reward of Rs2 million for the capture of the accused, who was involved in 30 cases of terrorism and abduction.
It is pertinent to mention here that Taliban attacked the Bannu jail and free at least 400 criminals back in 2012.
