Boxer Amir Khan leads a convoy to help Syrian refugees

 

LONDON: Famous Pakistani born British boxer Amir Khan is leading an aid convoy to help Syrian refugees arriving in Greece. 

According to details, convoy is packed with donated food, water, clothing and hygiene kits  and every needed thing for the refugees will reach the Athens, Capital of Greece, on Friday after covering the distance of 2,000 Km from Bolton, England, where all stuff for convoy has been collected at his gym.

‘The Amir Khan Foundation’ has joined hands with international aid charity ‘Penny Appeal’ to give much-needed support to the refugees who are arriving on the shores of Greece with nothing.

People can still donate their donations in the aid convoy campaign, with any money raised going towards the purchasing of essential goods for refugees.

The convoy has been organised by the Amir Khan Foundation and Penny Appeal.

It is to be kept in mind that Syrian nationals are seeking refugee in different parts of world with nothing more than clothes on them.
