ISLAMABAD: Investigators claimed that the murderer of founding leader of Mutahhida Qaumi Movement Imran Farooq, Kashif Khan, might be hiding in Afghanistan’s Waish Mandi area.
According to details, one of the key members of Joint investigation Team (JIT) of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has revealed that Kashif was traced on a Afghan border side.
Pakistani security agencies has spread the circle of investigations and this is being claimed after a week later when Scotland Yard has left to England after completing their investigations from Pakistan over the Imran Farooq case.
JIT member revealed that family and two very close friends, Ali and Khalid, of Kashif has disclosed to investigators that he called them one month before from some site of Waish Mandi in Afghanistan, near Iran border.
Another member of JIT has revealed that Pakistani security agencies are in continuous contact with Afghan security agencies for handing over main suspect Kashif.
It is to be kept in mind that Imran Farooq was found dead near his home in London, 2010 and investigations over this murder has created alot of troubles for senior leadership of MQM.
