6 Pakistani pilgrims martyred in crane crash: Pakistani Ambassador to KSA

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Manzoor-ul-Haq on Sunday has confirmed that 6 Pakistani pilgrims martyred in the tragic crane crash incident in the Holy Place of Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

According to details Pakistani Ambassador also confirmed that 36 Pakistanis have been injured in the sad accident.

He said that Saudi officials are covering every angle to investigate the incident.

Manzoor-ul-Haq termed this incident as the heart wrenching incident and stated that the families of the martyred pilgrims are in Saudi Arabia.

Embassy officials stated that Pakistan’s Ambassador will be giving a press conference on Sunday.

It is to be kept in mind that this tragic incident occurred due to heavy storm in the site, initially Pakistani officials were denying any causality of Pakistani pilgrim but now Arabian TV has reported that at least 15 Pakistani were martyred in the incident.

Most of the Pakistani martyrs belong to Mardan, district of Khyber PakhtunKhwa, Pakistan.
