ISLAMABAD – Senator Mushahid Ullah presented his resignation to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over his controversial interview with BBC.
Mushahid Ullah met with PM Nawaz Sharif at Prime Minister House and tendered his resignation from ministry. He also explains his view over controversial interview with British media.
Earlier, Federal Minister Pervez Rasheed on Friday night announced that Mushahidullah has asked for clarification on the former spy chief’s telephonic tape issue.
Meanwhile spokesperson of Prime Minister House denied about the presence of such telephonic tape.
PM Spokesman Parvez Rashid said no such tape exists, Mushahidullah has been asked to clarify his statement. Mushahidullah’s clarification will be put before nation, he said.
Meanwhile, soon after Mushahidullah Khan’s statement touched the screens, micro-blogging website Twitter buzzed up with condemnation remarks against the PML-N Senator and Federal Minister.
