ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah has said that all necessary resources will be utilized for providing every possible relief to the flood-affected people in the affected areas under the relief and rescue operation.
Pakistan Navy’s Command and Staff Conference concluded on Saturday at Naval Headquarters Islamabad.
The Conference chaired by Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah, was primarily aimed at reviewing Operational Preparedness and Developmental Plans of Pakistan Navy.
Chief of the Naval Staff was given detailed briefings on various developmental projects of Pakistan Navy.
While taking a comprehensive review of the prevailing Maritime environment in the region, the priorities and the ongoing projects, the participants of the Conference also discussed Pakistan Navy’s relief and rescue operation for the flood-affected people in the Sindh and Punjab.
Chief of the Naval Staff was also informed that work is in progress on the preferred basis for coping with the flood situation.
While taking stock of the prevalent security environment, the Naval Chief expressed satisfaction over operational readiness of Pakistan Navy in the face of prevalent Maritime challenges.
He urged upon all for judicious utilization of resources provided for maritime defence with greater responsibility, meticulous planning and flawless execution.
Command and Staff Conference is held every quarter and is the apex decision making body of Pakistan Navy in which all Principal Staff Officers and Field Commanders undertake strategic review of Pakistan Navy’s Policies and Plans.
