ISLAMABAD: Federal Defence Minister Khawaja Asif says the government wants to send Altaf Hussain ‘home’ for his suspected links in money laundering and for alleged connections with Research and Analyst Wing (RAW).
While speaking in a TV show, the minister lashed at Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain for his aggressive speech against Rangers and security agencies conducting operation against terrorism in Karachi and other parts of the country.
“We respect Urdu speaking community and MQM’s vote bank, but Altaf Hussain’s own evildoing has brought him in hot water.” Khawaja Asif said.
“The ‘Urban Terrorists’ who sold off schools, public parks, occupied graveyards, shall not be spared and will be treated as per law.” He said.
The minister called on Ataf Hussain and challenged him to prove his ‘bravery’ by coming to Pakistan.
“Altaf’ Hussain’s tone changes whenever his wrongdoings are exposed,” Khawaja Asif said.
