Yasir Shah retains fourth position in ICC Test rankings

DUBAI – Pakistani leg-spinner Yasir Shah maintained his fourth position in ICC Test ranking while Saeed Ajmal pushed to 11th position.

According to latest rankings issued by International Cricket Council, Yasir Shah retained his position in the list of top five bowlers of Test cricket.

While off-spinner Saeed Ajmal is now pushed to 11th position.  Younis Khan is on 7th position and skipper of Pakistan Test team Misbah ul Haq grabbed 13th position. According new rankings, captain of Pakistan ODI team Azhar Ali still on 15th number.

On the other side, South African star batsmen AB de Villiers grabbed first position from Australian all-rounder Steve Smith. Steve Smith lost his top position due to poor performance in the very first Test match of the Ashes series.

Hashim Amla is placed at third position in ICC Test rankings. South African bowler Dale Steyn top the table. English bowler James Anderson placed at No. 2 followed by Kiwi’s star bowler, Trent Boult.

South Africa is remain top team of Test cricket followed by Australia and Pakistan. Pakistan team took third position after winning the series by 2-1 against in Sri Lanka.
