Pakistan decides to bowl first in opening ODI

DAMBULLA – Pakistan has won the toss and elected to field first in the opening match of the One Day International series against Sri Lanka on Saturday.

Pakistan’s skipper Azhar Ali shows no hesitation to go for bowling first as the pitch at Dambulla seems to have moisture in it which would help fast bowlers in the first half of innings.

Muhammed Irfan has returned to Pakistan squad for first time after being dismissed from cricket world cup 2015 due to injury.

According to report from Sri Lankan camp, Tillakaratne Dilshan will play first one-dayer, and Lasith Malinga leads the attack.
