Pakistan likely to launch “Young Guns” in ICC Champions Trophy 2017

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan team will play ICC Champions Trophy 2017 with ‘Young Guns’ and will give tough time to the opponents teams. 

Pakistan One Day International team now a days playing under the captaincy of young player Azhar Ali. Two star players of Pakistan team announced retirement from ODI cricket after previous cricket world cup.

‘Boom Boom’ Afridi, who always considered as a sign of fear for opponents team, said good-bye to ODI cricket after playing his last match against Australia in Cricket World Cup 2015.

Shahid Afridi is only player who too 350 plus wickets with scoring 8000 runs in ODI cricket.

Another legendary batsman, ‘King Misbah’ also left the ODI cricket after previous world cup. He proved himself as most successful captain of Pakistan cricket.

Now, Pakistan cricket is in hand of young players. But there is nothing to worry because in history of Pakistan cricket, young players proved themselves as a game changer.

In 1992 Cricket World Cup, Great Imran Khan introduced young talented player, Inzamam ul Haq, and forced him to play semi-final of 1992 world cup.

Inzamam showed his talent in semi-final and with aggressive and stylish batting he snatched the game from New Zealand team. He scored 60 runs in just 37 balls. Later in his career, he became the hero of Pakistan cricket and fans honored him with name ‘Sultan of Multan’

After Inzaman, Pakistan cricket produced many big names like Shahid Afridi who changed showed the world new style of batting.

He scored fastest century against SrLanka and showed the world real aggressive batting. After Afridi, youn Imran Nazir launched by Pakistan cricket. Imran Nazir made his name in cricket world with his fast and furious batting.

In Champions Trophy 2017, Pakistan team will also play with young hands. Pakistan team still have young talented players like Umar Akmal, Ahmed Shehzad, Sohaib Maqssod and multi-talented Hammad Azam and Anwar Ali.

Yasir Shah is also good edition in Pakistan, who showed his art of swing in Sri Lanka during first test match at Gale.

Pakistan can surprise opponents team by introducing young talent as they surprised cricket world in past.
