ISLAMABAD – Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi telephoned Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday and discussed the current situation.
Narendra Modi Modi offered his best wishes Pakistan on occasion of holy month. Both the leaders agreed to refrain from issuing aggressive statements.
During telephonic conversation PM of Pakistan and Modi discussed bilateral relations and current situation of the region.
Earlier, Nawaz Sharif warned Thursday that aggressive statements against Pakistan by Indian leaders were mess up the political atmosphere and taking the two nuclear-armed nations away from aim of regional peace .
India leaders in recent days have issued anti-Pakistan statements and blame Pakistan for sponsoring terrorist activities in India .
The tensions reached on peak when Indian officials claimed that they special carried out a cross-border raid against militants inside Myanmar and said it was also a message for neighbor country.
While addressing Pakistani diplomats in Islamabad on Thursday, Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif warned the rival nation against any such incursion into Pakistan.
