Thirty Four Billion Dollars To Be Spent On Energy

ISLAMABAD – The Federal Minister of Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal briefs the All Parties Conference on the route of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Ahsan Iqbal told the APC that route of CPEC was not altered. Most of the energy plants would be installed in Sindh, he added.

Talking about the Lowari Tunnel, he said that it would be inaugurated by next year. “The total investment in energy projects would be 34 billion dollars”. Ahsan told APC. “Good ties with china is a cornerstone of Pakistan’s foreign policy.”

Nullifying the allegations of unfair distribution of funds, he said that the statements were based on false notions.
