ISLAMABAD – The Upper House, Senate, of Pakistan is strictly concerned over the alleged involvement of Axact in selling fake degrees all across the globe on Tuesday.
The debate taken place in Senate regarding the issue of fake degrees by Axact in the Senate proceedings on Tuesday.
The fake degrees scandal of Axact, Pakistan’s largest Information Technology Company, has been the hot cake not only in Pakistan, but also in the whole world.
The chairman of Senate, Raza Rabbani, has formed a new committee to probe the scandal because it is attached with Pakistan’s name unfortunately, with headquarter of Axact here in Karachi.
The Senator, Aitzaz Ahsan, said that this is very defaming report not only for Axact, but also it bring bad name to Pakistan in the international community.

He further added that there seems to be much credibility in the report published by New York Times on Monday.
Aitzaz Ahsan further said that unfortunately it is attached to Pakistan’s name which is defaming Pakistan’s image in whole world.
Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, has also directed Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to probe the allegations of New York Times.
