NAPIER: Pakistan head coach Waqar Younis is only hurdle not to include Sarfarz Ahmed in Pakistan team as Nasir Jamsheed who has given continual poor performance in last three matches of the World Cup, is favorite of the head coach, Samaa News reported.
The report said that the head coach Waqar Younis had named Nasir Jamsheed as a replacement of Muhammad Hafeez, who was sent back to the country after his injury.
The report also said that selectors have selected Sarfaraz Ahmed as third opening batsman but the head coach is reluctant to include Sarfaraz in the team.
The head coach still wanted to keep Nasir Jamsheed in the team for big match against South Africa.
