KARACHI: Committed to fulfill the United Nation’s Global Impact’s 10 principles, Hinopak Motors Limited has launched Road Safety Awareness Program under the tag line of “HINO AAGAHI”.
Hinopak Motors Limited the global brand and market leader in heavy commercial vehicles industry organized a road safety awareness session at SITE Model School in collaboration with National Highways & Motorway Police.
The Program included spellathon, poster and speech competition, quiz, awareness talks and other activities.
According to Manager HR & CSR, Mr. Khaliluddin, the program was initiated with an objective to raise knowledge, awareness and skills amongst school students about road safety. Highlighting the facts in his speech he said almost 4500 people die yearly in crashes due to negligence of traffic rules and measures.
Mr. Khaliluddin emphasized that unless action is taken, road traffic injuries are predicted to become the fifth leading cause of death by 2030.
Mr. Farhan Ahmed; National Highways & Motorway Police representative conducted an informative session highlighting key aspects of safe commutation.
Sajjad Ahmed I. Memon, Administrator DMC West, chief guest of the program honored and thanked Hinopak Motors Ltd. and its management for organizing the event.
Road Safety oath was also taken from participants at the end.
