LAHORE: Pakistani cricket team bowler Junaid Khan participation in the world cup will be decided by the panel formed by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) after his medical test, Samaa News reported.
Junaid Khan injured his hamstring during the training camp at Lahore.
The bowler’s medical tests will be taken on Monday and Tuesday and after that the PCB panel will observe his bowling performance.
The test will be taken in supervision of head coach Muhmmad Akram and the PCB medical board.
Junaid after medical test show his bowling performance to the panel and the panel will decide is his performance up to mark for the world cup or not.
When the bowler got injured the team selector Moin Khan had said that “”If Junaid Khan recovers, he will join the World Cup squad,”.
Fast bowler Bilawal Bhatti had replaced Khan in the team for the two one-day internationals against the Kiwis, and the two practice matches there.
