KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Saturday rejected Sindh government-constituted judicial commission to probe its unit in-charge Sohail Ahmed murder.
Talking to media the MQM acting convener of coordination committee Qamar Manssor and its senior leader Farooq Sattar said that the Sindh government has formed the commission in the chair of a retired judge and the party will not accept such a judicial commission. The MQM demanded the judicial commission in the chair of serving judge.
The MQM leaders alleged that provincial government’s favorite’s police officers were declaring arrested extortionist and target killers belonging to the MQM.
Qamar Mansoor said that the government has posted prejudiced police officers in the metropolis whereas Sattar said that if Federal government made monitoring committee overseeing Karachi operation then there is no need of judicial commission.
