Shikarpur incident: Shutter-down strike announced across Sindh

KARACHI: Various political and religious parties have announced to observe mourning day for brutal bomb attack carried out inside a Shitte mosque in Shikarpur – Sindh which claimed at least 49 lives on Friday (today).

Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) has called for shutter-down strike across the Sindh province on Saturday (tomorrow) against brutal killings in bomb attack inside a Shitte mosque.

MWM leadership appealed political parties, traders and transporters to show solidarity for the victims of Shikarpur incident.

Jaffaria Alliance Pakistan (JAP) also announced to observe mourning day and called out strike across Sindh. Moreover, Balochistan Shia Conference also announced to observe three-day mouring for the Shikarpur victims.


Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) supremo Altaf Hussain said that the political party would observe mourning day tomorrow and Black Flag will be waved across the Sindh.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) also show solidarity with the victims of Shikarpur incident and announced to mourn the deaths inside a Shitte mosque.
