JUI-F chief demands Govt to make 22nd amendment for political harmony

CHICHA WATNI: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the government will have to make 22nd constitutional amendment for political harmony and to promote democratic values.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman was talking to different delegations at Jamia Rasheedia in Sahiwal. He said that JUI-F has neither supported the terrorism nor it will support it but the term of religious and the non-religious terrorism is not understandable.
Fazlur Rehman said that JUI-F will not keep silent spectator on the actions taken against the religious madaris and mosques.

Former federal minister Maulana Ataur Rehman , Maulana Kaleemullah Rasheedi, Qari Saeed bin Shaheed and others were present on the occasion.
According to press release from the JUI-F deputy secretary information Punjab, Hafiz Habibullah Cheema, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that JUI-F supported the government on every front for strengthening the democratic system, saying that it does not mean that JUI-F will keep as silent spectator on the completion of the foreign agenda and action against madaris and mosques.
He said that 22nd constitutional amendment is inevitable for compensating the reservations of the JUI-F on the 21st constitutional amendment.
Fazlur Rehman said that religious madaris and mosques are their foundations and they will continue protecting them. He said that ‘Tahuffaz-e-Namoos-e-Risalat’ is the integral part of their faith and they can make every sacrifice for its protection.
