SIALKOT: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has taken notice of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) district Vice President Bao Muhammad Anwar murder, TheNewsTribe.com reported.
CM Shahbaz Sharif ordered District Police Officer (DPO) Sialkot to present the report of MQM leader assassination in 24 hours.
He further ordered that DPO to arrest assailants immediately.
Earlier Bao Anwar was gunned down by unidentified armed men riding on motorcycle in Sialkot, at Shahabpura road on Wednesday.
MQM Chief Altaf Hussain demanded Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar to arrest the assailants.
MQM rabita committee also called an emergency meeting following the murder of party district vice-president.
