Pakistan at 34/2 chasing New Zealand’s 403

DUBAI: Pakistan lost its opening pair chasing Kiwis first inning score of 403 runs all on the second day of first test  at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

Earlier, Pakistan restricted New Zealand to 403 runs all out in their first innings, as Zulfiqar Baber claimed four wickets.

The Kiwis managed to put a big total on the scoreboard thanks to  dropped catches and pathetic fielding by Pakistani players.

Pakistani bowlers took three quick wickets for just  35 runs in the start of the second day.

Opener Tom Latham, who scored a brilliant century (137), lost his wicket by left-arm Rahat Ali.

Pakistan entered into batting phase now and given early wickets of opener Shan Masood 13 bowled out by Ish Sodhi in 14th over while Taufeeq Umar 16 moved to pavilion by Mark Craigon just 16 runs and overall score is 34 runs.
