ISLAMABAD: Major reshuffle in the federal cabinet is expected within next week, as Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz is mulling over inviting Qaumi Watan Party (QWP) and Awami National Party (ANP) to join the federal government and to induct some news faces in the federal cabinet.
According to private Dunya TV, the government is planning to undertake a major reshuffle in the federal cabinet to improve governance and services delivery to the masses. The government will expand the cabinet and new ministers will be inducted while portfolios of some of the incumbent ministers will also be changed.
Quoting unnamed sources, the channel reported that QWP chief Aftab Sherpao, Muslim League-Zia chief Ijazul Haq and PML-N MNQ Marvi Memon will be inducted in the cabinet as minister while ANP will also be given a ministry. ANP itself will decide the name of its minister, it added.
It said that Marvi Memon is expected to replace Prime Minister’s daughter Maryum Nawaz as Chairperson Prime Minister Youth Loan Scheme.
