KARACHI: Pakistan has started planning to organize a triangular series with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh before 2015 World Cup.
According to reports, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shehryar Khan will leave for Dhaka on Monday.
The PCB chairman will meet Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hasan and might propose a triangular series among Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, but this is not part of the agenda.
He will also discuss participation of Pakistani players in Bangladeshi domestic events.
Before visiting Bangladesh he will pay a short visit to India to meet Board of Cricket Council India (BCCI) officials to build a strong relationship between Asian cricket nations.
However, it is pertinent to mention here that PCB and BCB had some tensions going in the recent past. BCB backed off from their promise to send their team twice. In retaliation, PCB stopped its players from participating in the Bangladesh domestic tournament.
