RAWALPINDI: Pakistan armed forces collected ‘more significant successes’ as two more militant-held areas, including Boya and Degan, has been cleared during Zarb-e-Azb operation in North Waziristan Agency (NWA).
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that Zarb-e-Azb operation is going on with consecutive achievements in accordance to the plan.
Two more sensitives areas including Boya and Degan has been cleared by the Pakistani troops after Mir Ali; both areas were considered as safest shelter of local and foreign terrorists, ISPR said.
ISPR confirmed attacks carried out by the terrorists in surroundings of Mir Ali area, however, the security forces’ retaliation foiled the attacks.
Large-scale search operation commenced in Mir Ali area including its market and military personnels are successfully conducted door-to-door search missions.
Significant developments were revealed today as four alleged terrorists were killed during military operation last night while 12 land mines were diffused and a mine factory was also seized in the area.
