ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is all set to inaugurate two units of Guddu thermal power plant today, according to spokesperson of Prime Minister house.
Each unit is capable of producing 243 megawatts of electricity.
These projects have been completed six-week ahead of the stipulated time with the cooperation of a Chinese Company which has been saved around 58.6 billion rupees.
These two units of Guddu power plants will start providing 486 megawatts of electricity to national grid.
The new Guddu thermal power plant will be completed in May and it will provide 747 megawatts to national grid.
