KARACHI: At least 5 persons were injured including 2 in sensitive condition following a powerful explosion at Madrasah Jamia Sattaria Islamia near Nipa round-about of Karachi, the metropolis of Pakistan.
The blast was carried out by unidentified assailants via planted explosives; while presence of another bomb has been reported and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) has also been called at the location.
Rescue teams have reached the location; shifting the injured persons to nearby hospital.
According to police’s initial report, terrorists used 1.5 kilograms of explosive in the attack which was installed near wall of the Madrasah.
Police have claimed to arrest two suspected persons near the incident’s site.
Heavy contingents of law enforcement agencies including Rangers and Police cordoned off whole area while the route has been banished for traffic flow till security clearance, local media reported.
Same school of thought was targeted in other part of Pakistan’s Sindh province via bomb explosion in Sanghar district where at least 6 college students were injured in Shahdadpur area, local media reported.
