ISLAMABAD: Former military ruler Pervez Musharraf has now reached in the special court here on on Monday
A three-member bench, headed by Justice Faisal Arab will hear the treason case today.
Security measures at the Special Court have been beefed up in anticipation of Musharraf’s appearance in court today, in compliance with an order issued on March 14, demanding his presence – enforced or voluntary – in the dock.
According to reports, Musharraf is likely to face indictment in the high treason case today, nearly three months after the former strongman’s cardiac condition led him to be shifted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the AFIC.
Pervez Musharraf on Sunday was shifted to Intensive Care Centre (ICU) due to sudden increase in his blood pressure on Sunday, media reported.
Rana Aijaz, Advocate of Pervez Musharraf, has confirmed the news of being transferred to ICU because of blood pressure.
